HR Manager

We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations for our Kerala office. You’ll own the employee lifecycle, ensure Kerala Shops & Establishments Act compliance, and build a people-first culture as we scale. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Drive full-cycle recruitment: job posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer rollout Build campus + lateral hiring pipelines for Kerala talent Own onboarding, probation reviews, and new-hire engagement HR Operations & Compliance Maintain employee records, HRMS, and statutory registers under Kerala Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1960 Process payroll inputs, leave & attendance, and ensure timely PF, ESI, PT, LWF compliance Administer leave policies: CL 12 days, SL 12 days, EL 12 days, holidays, maternity leave Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, POSH compliance, and exit formalities Performance & Engagement Run PMS cycles: KRA setting, mid-year reviews, appraisals, PIPs Design employee engagement, R&R programs, and training calendars Conduct pulse surveys and drive action plans on feedback Policy & Culture Draft, update, and communicate HR policies in line with Kerala/state labor laws Be the custodian of company culture and values Advise leadership on HR best practices and organizational design HR Analytics Track HR metrics: attrition, TAT for hiring, leave utilization, training ROI Present monthly dashboards to leadership Requirements Must-have: Experience: 5-8 years in HR, with 2+ years as HR Manager/Assistant Manager in private sector Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or MSW with HR specialization. LLB is a plus Knowledge: Strong grasp of Kerala Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Maternity Benefit Act Skills: HRMS like Zoho People/Keka/Darwinbox, Excel, strong communication in English + Malayalam Competencies: Confidentiality, conflict resolution, multitasking, business partnering mindset
